Use Infal to manage Family Support Services

Look forward to ditching the spreadsheets! Infal’s 2015.4 release (scheduled for December) will allow counties to track overall FSS budgets down to an individual or family. Allocations can be tied to an IHPO/Requisition for easy tracking and real-time FSS balances. It also offers email notifications to department heads and the fiscal office.

DODD requests demo of Gatekeeper’s Title XX tracking

Before making the recent changes, DODD staff proactively explored how Title XX is tracked through Gatekeeper. Tiffany Harlan and Jessica Levy visited our office for a demonstration. While reviewing Gatekeeper’s Title XX tracking capability and the supporting reports, DODD suggested that the Early Intervention Case Notes report be modified to remove unnecessary fields.

The transportation unit was also discussed, leading to the recent change from a round-trip unit to a single-trip unit. We appreciate that DODD recognizes the benefit Gatekeeper offers and considered the needs of Gatekeeper counties in their decision making process. Introducing enhanced reporting features

Accessing the information that is most important to you is now even easier with these emerging features:

  • Calendar view (users can change the standard report view to a calendar view)
  • Drill Down (click within a report to access more detailed information about report data. For example, users can click on a specific payment on a payment report to get details of that payment.)
  • Edit on the fly
  • Signature enabled (prompts users to provider their signature, entered via the computer mouse or stylus/finger)

chatChat Assist expands user support

Now it’s even easier to get support quickly with ChatAssist. Users can connect with a software support specialist or IT support specialist in real-time by clicking the “Chat” button on their toolbar. After providing some basic information, users can discuss the problem they are experiencing with a Primary Solutions team member. ChatAssist also allows the support staff to take control of the user’s screen to troubleshoot or guide users through an unfamiliar process. Standard support charges will apply. ChatAssist is available from 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday (excluding holidays).
